With the new year came the exciting new develop- ment of guitar lessons. Klellin attended his first quitar lesson Friday Night. He was a little nervous at the beginning, but he decided his teacher can play any song you ask him to, and he thought that was pretty cool. Of course mom was pretty impressed as well. His teacher is Mason Cottom who must be about mom's age because when talking about '80's rock music and the mention of poison, he immediately started playing and singing (in a very good voice I might add) "Every Rose has it's Thorn." I know I'm dating myself, but I still love that song.Jason told Cicely she can quit playing the violin when she can play "The Devil Came Down to Georgia", so I've decided Klellin can quit when he can play all my favorite metal ballads.

Next time we are in Hurricane at the same time you'll have to have Klellin bring his guitar and play us a song or chord.

Well good thing i'll be seeing you guys this coming suday for Christiasns birthday! he has to bring that for sure!!!! I wish i could play! Derek has a guitar sitting in our room with 1200 layers of dust on it...

Klellin - when Uncle Luke comes to visit in August, will you teach him how to play the guitar?
If he were ever to learn to play an instrument, it would be the guitar.
